Admission Guidelines

As per UGC guidelines, the Undergraduate (UG) degree courses will be offered under

FOUR-YEAR HONOURS PROGRAMME WITH AN EXIT OPTION AFTER THREE YEARS


Students satisfying the application criteria can apply online to the Raghabpur Campus and directly take admission by making the online payment of admission fees through the website after completing the application process.

Physical verification and final admission process can be completed at the Raghabpur campus any day between 10am and 1:00pm.


Application and admission procedure:

1.

Form Fill-up:

  • Click the link for online form fill-up and fill in the online application form
  • Note down your application code
  • Take a print of the filled in application form
  • Proceed to pay the application fee and pay Rs.300/- online
  • Take a print of the application fee receipt

Admission Fee Payment:

  • Use the Fee Payment Button to pay the College Fees and take a print of the receipt generated online.
  • Fees to be paid online only by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking. No other mode of payment will be available.

Information required at the time of online payment of fees:

  • Aadhaar Number
  • Email ID of the student (do not give any email ID other than the student)
  • Blood Group (get the blood group tested by an authorized laboratory)
  • Country and state/province of permanent residence

Physical Verification of documents and Final admission

Visit the Raghabpur Campus office for physical verification and submission of documents.

Documents required at the time physical verification:

Bring all originals for verification.

Laminated marksheet will not be accepted.

  • Admission fee payment receipt in the original
  • The Acknowledgement sheet attested only by the Principal of the last school attended
  • Application fee payment receipt in the original
  • Copy of Class-XII Marksheet attested only by the Principal of the last school attended
  • Copy of Class-XII Admit Card / Hall Ticket attested only by the Principal of the last school attended
  • Copy of attested Date of birth Certificate (Class X Admit card / Marksheet / Certificate)
  • Copy of address proof (Electricity bill /Telephone bill / Voter ID Card)
  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Copy of Baptism certificate (for Roman Catholic and Christian candidates)
  • Copy of Caste certificate (for SC / ST / OBC candidates)
  • Three stamp size recent color photographs (without any attestation)
  • PWD certificate from a competent authority for Persons with Disability
  • Certificate from a registered medical practitioner for persons with significant medical condition

Physical verification Schedule: Weekdays between 10:00am and 1:00 p.m.

  Students not having internet access or facing any difficulty in online application and/or admission may contact the Raghabpur Campus office for assistance.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The student must have passed in all the papers as per the respective Board
    /Council
     pass marks.
  2. The student must have obtained 45% marks in each of the 4 subjects included in the aggregate calculation if not specified otherwise.

No candidate shall be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than five years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating five years from the year of passing the last qualifying examination.

For admission to all courses, a student must have studied and passed in English at the +2 level. Admission of students failing in English or not having English will be cancelled (excluding the foreign students for whom there is a separate set of rules).

  • Aggregate is calculated with 4 subjects at +2 level including the compulsory subjects as indicated in the eligibility criteria for application and the subjects having the maximum marks from the rest of the subjects.
  • The following subjects must not be included in the calculation of aggregate:

    Agriculture Environmental Education Fashion Studies Physical Education
    Art / Fine Arts Environmental Science Heritage Craft Fashion Designing
    Security Environmental Studies Home Science Entrepreneurship

  • Every applicant must fulfil the eligibility criteria as laid down for each course.
  • The student must have obtained 45% marks in each of the 4 subjects included in the aggregate calculation.
  • The student must have passed in all the papers as per the respective Board
    /Council
     pass marks.
  • Marks in all subjects indicated in the +2 level mark sheet must be entered in the application form.
  • Students passing the GCE examination of the UK are eligible for admission only if they have passed with 2 'A' Levels and 3 'O' levels. Only subjects passed at 'A' level can be considered as compulsory subjects as per the individual course eligibility criteria. Such candidates must have completed and passed the 'A' level examination at the time of application. Candidates with projected mark sheets/grade sheets are not eligible for any Board
     or Council
    .
  • Foreign Nationals need to produce their English Proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS) if the instruction of study in the qualifying examination is not in English medium. Students without TOEFL, IELTS are not eligible to apply.

The College reserves the right to reject the candidature and/or cancel the application/ admission at any stage if an applicant fails to fulfil the above conditions.

For B. COM honours, Mathematics is not compulsory for Raghabpur Campus.

Aggregate calculation: English + ANY 3 Core Commerce Subjects
Marks Requirement for Application: 45% each in English and any 3 subjects as included in aggregate calculation.
